2017 chili cookoff

This year's Chili Cookoff was another big success.  There were 4 entrants, including a vegetarian chili, which was a first.  Several games were played, with Glen winning the beans in a jar guessing game.  A Family Feud Game was also played, and everyone had lots of laughs, with the final winners being Patty and Joe.  Finally, the results of the judging were announced, with  Wayne Donle winning first place, pictured below, and Walt and May as runners up.  All chilis were delicious and the scores were very close.  Another first this year were the great prizes:  Tickets to Cooper's Hawk (which were obtained with the help of John, our caretaker), a coupon for a free Chinese dinner donated by The China Wok and an art piece donated by Bill and Susan.
